The Real Zombie Cat

It all begins with an idea. Albert was my cat. He was ace. He lived for 10 wonderful years. But from an early age we knew he was just a little bit different.

He fell over A LOT. He was very dribbly. He ticked and spasmed. And he had an unfortunate fight with a radiator (which he lost) and ended up losing some toes in the mix.

We took him for an MRI. The vets diagnosed him with ataxia, a degenerative condition caused by tumours on his brain. In fact, they said he had so many tumours, they weren’t quite sure how he was still functioning. My friend joked he was like a zombie and the name stuck.

Sadly Albert is no longer with us, but his legacy is. We are so proud of our very own Zombie cat, here at Zombie cat HQ. We will continue to honour him with his own artwork and merchandise.
